Trainers leverage the results from your Bod Pod® assessment along with your goals questionnaire to build a fitness program fit for YOU. Our partners align with our mission to create an experience that leverages small goals techniques to better ensure long term success. We are not in the business of quick fix solutions, but rather we are here to support you through this journey by building relationships of trust, respect and accountability. Your successful progression through this journey is our primary goal and we’re not racing to a finish line. We Track Your Bod Pod® Results!

We maintain a history of your Bod Pod® assessments so you’re able to see how your body is changing over time. We review each assessment with you to ensure your understanding of the changes taking place INSIDE your body. While many of us focus on external physical validation, we urge our you to understand how body composition may adversely affect you on the inside and lead to serious health risks if not well managed.

Weight loss and weight gain alone are insufficient at providing you with a TRUE view of you body composition. Education is critical in goal achievement and maintenance ; with the Bod Pod® we keep you informed.

 

Why is (Bod Pod®) Body Composition Analysis right for YOU?

The only way to truly know what you’re made of (fat vs. muscle) is to leverage high tech tools that produce accurate results. The common tools used to identify potential health risks associated with excess fat are generally out dated and inaccurate. The use of BMI as a tool to identify health risks associated with higher fat mass may leave one feeling hopeless when the numbers never seem to align even when they’re working hard at lifestyle change. For some of us, BMI will always be too high; this method is based solely on sex, height and weight irrespective of the TYPE of weight one is carrying. Proper weight distribution of fat and muscle is critical in understanding real health risks, the only way to understand this distribution is with technology such as the Bod Pod® . The Bod Pod® provides you with accurate, fast and safe body composition measurements. Through this education, you are better able to understand you potential for crucial health risks including diabetes, heart disease and cancer. A high number on the scale does not necessarily translate into poor health risks. We want to show you truly what you’re made of by using the technology proven in the Bod Pod®.

 

MORE ABOUT BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS – THE TECHNICAL JARGON

Fast test time. The Bod Pod® is extremely simple to use and does not require a license to operate. A full test requires only about 5 minutes (2 minutes inside Bod Pod®)

Completely non-invasive. Bod Pod’s® air displacement plethysmography has eliminated the invasiveness of Dual Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DXA) and it is therefore suitable for frequent, longitudinal tracking of body composition and metabolic changes over time.

Flexibility in testing special populations. The Bod Pod® is ideal for assessing the body composition of special populations such as children (young children from 2 to 6 years with Pediatric OptionTM), the elderly, the disabled and subjects weighing more than 200 kg or with heights above 2 mt.

Validated technology. The accuracy of the Bod Pod® has been shown to be very high against reference techniques in a number of research publications. Percent fat results obtained form the Bod Pod® have not been shown to be statistically different than results from Multi-Compartment Models.

OK, so yes, we have a “diet” (noun) – our selection of food and drinks in terms of its qualities, composition and its effects on health. We ALL have a diet simply because we are consumers of food and drink.

But then…

There is “dieting” (verb) – this is an action we DECIDE to take on (not required for living). Dieting is to REGULATE, to SELECT or LIMIT the food one eats to improve one’s physical condition or to lose weight. Diets can be started and stopped

We (Better Being) focus on diet as a noun. We know how difficult it is to place restrictions on what you eat. We are more focused on food selections and less focused on the elimination of what you enjoy to consume. We offer our clients first, education and then a more broad range of food choices that lend to healthier choices while maintaining satiation and enjoyment during meal times.

No one likes to be told what NOT to do so we avoid telling you NOT to eat sugar, but rather we seek to give you choices that will result in overall wellness while still taking care of that sweet tooth you’ve grown so accustom to. Often times “dieting” fails because of its inherent restrictive approach to food, we often push back and end up in a worse state than before. When we become more aware of our options and make new choices we are more likely to succeed. We show you how to enjoy food that is also GOOD for your overall wellness.
